Dancing and aftermath
Aug. 2nd, 2004 05:30 pmIt went really well today. Kim did pretty darned good, a bit stiff from a wee case of nerves,but she did well.
Afterwards, we did our usual walk about town. Came out of Mystic Rose and almost ran into Grant. Loved the look on his face. I nodded said hi, and he said Hi back with this questioning look that said "Dammit,I know who that is!! WHO IS IT!!!???" Got a chuckle out of that.
Came home, spent 10 minutes removing costume and makeup. All that time to get ready, and next to no time to get it removed.
Well, we are almost famous. Got mentioned in local newspaper, but unfortunately, not by group name. I guess the Herald didn't want to give us free advertising. Oh well, we got top billing in the article, and Peter did manage to get in it that we perform there on a fortnightly basis. You go guy. :D
