I emailed him a picture of what I looked like just prior to the Costa Azura performance. He said it looked cool. I told him it took 2 hrs to get ready, and 45 seconds to wash it all off. Then he asked me how long was a performance, and I told him anywhere between 10 minutes to being around for a few hours.
He then quipped "Reminds me of the statue of liberty. With that I mean: 3 hours wait, 1 hour climb, 5 minute view, 30 mins descend."
Ya know, that is probably one of the best descriptions of getting ready for and then performing I have ever heard. (raises a glass of gingerale to said friend) Well said!
