New Household Gadget
Jan. 27th, 2004 10:38 pmGot a shredder today, mostly for disposing of old bankstatements, paid bills, and other sensitive documents that some crooks filch from garbage cans to swipe your identity, but I used it for another purpose.
I took any and all K documents, including pictures I had printed out and ran them through it. It was a cathartic experience. There was something akin to release when I did it.
Now, I am going to use their shredded bits as mulch in my garden, and turn em into worm food.

Also designed and printed out more brochures for BST. I like using live actions shots, instead of posed shots. We have gotten more 'bites' due to the new designs ("Wow, it looks like fun instead of mannequins!" is a quote from someone who is now a student.) Having the CAD, graphics, and program background comes in very handy. Designing the artwork for business cards, and the flyers is putting all that education to good use. The publishing program...well I had to dust the cobwebs off my synapses to use it, as it had been that long. It didn't take too long to reaquaint myself with it though. :) GEEKS RULE! MUNDANES DROOL! (lol)
Early night for me tonight, relatively speaking/typing. Been too many 1am 2am crash times, with 6am wake up call or meow. *sigh* I am run ragged, and have lots to do tomorrow.
