A Trip to the Vet... again
Jan. 2nd, 2004 09:05 pmAfrica aka Affy aka Pain in the A$$, came limping home, the target of an apparent mauling of a stray dog. Luckily, he only has a few head wounds that will need clipping and stitching, so he is spending the night at his regular vets "place to call in case of emergency". (Cats, like kids, seldom get hurt during normal business hours) Affy will look sooo good in that Elizabethian collar again.
On the way out, we actually met his usual vet, Dr Africano, in the parking lot. He expressed ironic amusement that Affy is once again in need of medical care, and suggest we get pet insurance just for his furry self. Good idea, I think.
Then Doc said that some *wonderful* people dumped a pregnant cat and a few kittens at his practice again. >:( That is how I got Keito (scroll down to see him after action) There are now some healthy kittens that have been thoroughly checked, examined, treated ready for new homes! *FREE* at the South Street Vet Clinic on 364 South Street, O'Conner. For people that are local to me (you know who you are) can call 9314-7444.
