(no subject)

A good friend of ours has invited us to a (get ready for this) TOGA PARTY! We are going to go. Wing was a bit worried about 'just wearing a sheet' until he saw the instructions on how to wear a roman toga. Tunics and shorts under it, not just sandals. Togas aren't kilts! But his reaction was good for a chuckle.

I will be doing a more grecian style for me, so I can get away with some of the more modern acoutrements.


Ahh, togas and kilts... I rather like the idea of men wearing shorter tunics/outfits than women for a change. ;)

Round Two

Went to doctors', and now it seems I will be subjected a full range of blood tests, as I was in January this year. I am still having the same problems, and they should have cleared up after a 6 week change in medication. He said there should have been a more marked improvement.

So, I have to fast tonight, and submit to a vampiric procedure first thing Saturday morning. Fun fun.


We also discussed "TWINKIES" and "OREOS", one of which is available in in this area of RooLand, but the other is not. Luckily for me, it's the OREOS that are available. So The appointment wasn't all bad. (grin)

WOW!

I just checked out the Fat Chance Belly Dance site, and their new photographs are stunning! Such beautiful colors, and the sheer joy of dancing. So much for just basic black and no pale colors! Just "wow".
