Perspective
Sep. 13th, 2003 10:04 amGot some news from my eldest son, who lives in the US. My aunt had a stroke a few years ago, which I did know about, and was placed in nursing home. That isn't the news that has me down. Turns out my uncle was overloaded with stress, and bills. The retirement income my aunt had went to pay for the nursing home. He had no choice but to sell the house. Then, on top of that he developed Alzheimers. The both of them are now in the same home. I want soo much to go see them but I can't afford the airfare. Also, my uncle wouldn't even know who I am now.
This really puts the petty garbage that has been going here on into perspective. They can keep their games, and BS. Have fun with it, if that is what make them happy, and feel important. I just don't care anymore. They are pretty shallow people if that is what it takes for them to get their jollies.
