Just how petty can some people be?
May. 25th, 2004 06:42 pmAmazingly quite petty.
On the advice of a friend, (it was good advice, L, but read on) I decided to add a new webring to our tribal site. I did all the right things, and have the proper coding on the page, even passed with flying colors, but for some odd reason it has stayed on PENDING all this time.
So, I went deeper into the records, and found out who is the 'ringmistress'. Oy vey.... I guess that group is still going out of their way to try to submarine us. It hasn't gotten through their heads that we don't CARE about them or what they do, nothing they do will stop us, and if I had known one of their members had set herself up as ringmistress of the webring, I wouldn't have taken friends advice to join the webring. (since we are Australian bellydance source site, I figured we would be a given)
What I find highly amusing is that she of this webring had nothing but nasty things to say about at least 2 of the people she has approved. Gawd I could blister your ears with some of her (and two others peoples) comments about some of the people she approved and are listed there. Oh well, will wait a while longer, and if approval doens't happen, no big deal. But it will show that she/they are still playing their highschool clique-y games and have yet to grow up.
