Green Thumb and Green Things
Apr. 28th, 2004 12:20 pmBeen working in my potted herb garden. Pruned back the thyme plant, dried a lot of it and ground it up. Have bundles of fresh basil drying too, not that you would notice from the size of the plants. Can't tell I have been pruning and racking.
The blue sage is being set upon by round 2 of cabbage moth larvae, but I have taken steps... literally. Pick em off, and step on 'em. SQUISH. Either that or toss them onto the step and let the local winged friends get a free snack.
From those who saw the first planting, this is what they have become.

And this was taken after I had harvested. House smell wonderful too, fresh thyme... rosemary... mmmmm.
(if you look on the bottom right hand sideof the sliding glass door, right under they purplish flowers, at the base of the stairs you can see a reflection of the rosemary bush I transplanted.)
The earlier version is here: First Planted
