aka El Cheapo Strikes again.

aikidomayland is making chicken and corn soup (a yummy soup he introduced me to last year), and I figured the corn chips we have would be a nice side for them. Turns out the bag had popped open and they were stale. Here's where the El Cheapo comes in. I put the chips on a flat baking pan, and put them in the oven at 100c for 10 minutes. Ta Da! Crunchy and no longer stale chips.

My Grandmother taught me that.... works with potato chips too.

Does your version of the soup use cornflower and egg? And spring onions? A good cheat is using tinned creamed corn which has enough starch to do the thickening for you.

He used tinned creamed corn. And fresh ginger, coriander, and spring onions. Was much yummy. *urp*
