Hot and humid
Feb. 2nd, 2008 07:49 pmNot just the weather.
aikidomayland and I went to Gleneagles Field Archers club, to meet up with several friends for some trail shooting. We only packed our hunnish bows, which for us is odd as we typically pack two each. Turns out it would have been a good thing to pack a spare today. It was so hot and humid, that the siyahs were starting to tortion. The wood had become flexible in the high humidity. We ended up coming home. Chris said next time he comes to town, he will make it a few days so we can raise a little hell... errr get together for a visit.
Something happened to AcerChild. It was just acting wonky, and nothing was working right. Tried system restore a few times. No joy. So I repaired it manually. Uninstalled certain software, ripped all references out of the registry, removed the hardware and drivers, defragged the hard drive. Reboot, reinstall and everything is working as it should.
Gawd, I don't like tech support, even when it me doing my own.
