A fundie was rambling, not that this is anything unusual.

I don't understand how "non-xmas" People are going to bitch about the whole "christmas in the classroom" and "secret santa", when they turn around and spend the money that has "In GOD we Trust" written all over it. Makes you think, huh?

I replied:

The "In God We Trust" was added in 1957, but there was no room for "All others pay cash".

It's okay with me, I like the idea of a big generous Elf in the classroom, and the pagan trees and the lights for celebrating the return of the Light, and the feasting of Saturnalia er.. Christmas. Yah. I don't mind it at all.
Just don't take away my goblins on All Hallow's Eve.

Same here, big ol jolly elf handing out gifts suits me wonderfully.
