Found something I could *do* today
May. 2nd, 2006 12:08 pmGot a new pair of garden clippers, and attacked the rosebushes. According to the gardening experts, I could have taken a hedgetrimmer or small chainsaw to them, but since I don't have one, and probably could have lifted either of them even if I did, I decided to do it the old manual way. I did see what the gardener was saying about the growth getting spindly and thin so I shorted the tallest rosebush by close to a half meter.. clip clip clip. I will get
aikidomayland or Alan to pick up all the cuttings I was kind enough to drop in only one pile.
Yeah, I know it's not much activity, but considering I have been watching paint peel, grass grow and dust settle, it was FUN! Note to self: Next time, wear more than slipper socks on feets when cutting rosebushes.
