The joys of gardening :p
May. 8th, 2007 05:27 pmFinally found out what was sickening my dracenea. It has a case of nematodes. That is probably what killed off the other one too. It has been treated, so it should make a full recovery.
Tomato plant is growing and flowering again. And it's also got 'early blight' again. Treated that, so it should be fine.
Will have to harvest and dry some sage, lavander, two different types of chilies, thyme, and maybe some rosemary too. The chives have pretty much become self sustaining. I did collect all the seeds and seed pods, so I can plant some more in their own herb pot.
aikidomayland over harvested the coriander. He chopped it off at the base of the plant, rather than clipping the tops off. I have shown him how to do it, so he won't do that again. I just hope the plant can recover, or the seeds I stuffed into the potting soil will grow, as the pot is in a warm, sheltered sunny spot. One can hope.
