Movies last night
Mar. 17th, 2007 07:54 pmManicure today.
Went to go see "Wild Hogs" last night, and I agree with the writer/producer. Ignore the critics, and just make entertainment. Again I was laughing at US oriented jokes and sight gags no one around here caught. Loved the funny looks I got from nearby people. I explained them to aikidomayland.
Went pillaging today. Had to convince aikidomayland to leave me in Fremantle, as I was meeting Meegan there a short time later. After about 10 minutes he realised I wasn't gonna budge so he went home.
Meandered around, and pitstopped at local computer store, and replaced a defunct bit of hardware. Also heard some more horror stories about VISTA. Two brand new computers, to be set up as Vista demo models. And both totally scragged. Vista made it impossible to reformat the harddrive after a failed installation on two different computers.
Got to the salon a bit early, so just vegged out until it was time for my little bit of pampering. Got a bright red nail enamel "Paint The Town Red". And it's not red.... its *R*E*D*
I also saw the last episode of Stargate SG1. Talk about double edged sword. I think it was some of the best writing I have seen, and man it's sad to see it go. Who knows though, maybe with enough fan involvement again, the ax will be delayed again. Hey, it's happened twice with SG1 so far, what's one more time? :)
