Teachers Pet and other mental aberrations
Jul. 9th, 2004 03:22 pmWell, the lorikeet is doing quite well, and I think I have come up with a name for him/her.
Last nights dance class was a very intense one. After our hafla, we did tell the students "Next week, we will be starting the hard stuff".. they said bring it on. And we did. It's not so much hard as it's more intricate. We will be going over the same things again next week. We did send them home with helpful hints for building up balance and strength. And typing of Hafla, Seana said they have been watching the video of their performance and have been nitpicking their own dancing. I am proud of what they did.. for unlike our debut, they actually improvised throughout the entire 15 minutes, whereas C.N. frowned on improv and had us do 'structured' dancing at every performance. Small wonder many people said to me that everything we used to do looked the same and was boring, and now it just looks so alive and fun. :D
Starting new class in Spearwood tonight. Zoom zoom, I never get to rest. :)
