My muse hath returned!
Oct. 24th, 2003 01:39 pmI have gotten over my pique of boredom, and have been going full steam at something I had been procrastinating about. Just little things that makes the a difference. But I tell you, rendering animated frames can make your eyes want to cross after a while, AND I have to remember not everyone has broadband.
Since I have been on the proper medication, I have been visibly reducing in size. Yesterday, I went out and got some sewing bits and pieces, because a lot of my street and dance clothes need to be resized! A choli that I thought I was going to have to give away, because I had altered it too small for me 4 months ago, fits wonderfully now. And energy and mental levels are great. It's so nice to not sit in a room, with curtains drawn, wanting to sob my heart out for no apparent reason. But it's not a manic change.. it's been a slow gradual change. (sigh of contentment) I have also continued with a writing project I started some time ago. Wow, what a change.
Husbands gis are washed (that word still looks wrong, but he assures me that the plural of gi is gis) so he is set for the weekend. He is in intense training for his sandan grading. Should be interesting... last time, he was the walking wounded. He was sooo muscle sore the next day, he actually creaked in every joint when he got out of bed. Would have been worse if he hadn't had his at home massuese (me) to prevent him from seizing up. He keeps pushing himself as if he was 20.. he is loathe to admit he will be 40 pretty danged soon. Tried to tell him that 40 isn't fatal, or even heart rending, but he is the "baby of his University days".. the last of the boy crew to hit the big FOUR OH. Keep telling him that getting older sure beats the only other available option. :)
Off I go again! Much to do on the weekend again!
