Riddle me this:
Oct. 6th, 2003 06:13 pmWhy for will a man spend $5 four times for a cheap, shoddily made item, but balk at spending the $20 the first time out to get same items, but well made instead?
Cheap things needing replacement: Hammer (used it once, and the head started coming off), screwdrivers (cheap alloy, they both bent a the tip) pliers (the pair here *might* be able to hold something the width of a pencil, if lucky) microphone for computer (this one here looks as if a strong sneeze in its general direction will make it fly to pieces.. plus the pick up on it sucks big time) Towels (the ones he got are shedding and unraveling)... and the list goes on and on and on.
My question is this: Is this some sort of guy thing to do?
*A*
