Twas the night before surgery ..

Spoke to Dr N. about what to expect tomorrow. Have begun Pre-Op fast an hour early. Yes, I am still a bit anxious about what to expect Dr. N said he expects to go perfectly, gave me the skinny about what sort of scarring I will have, and where.Scarring will be minimal, he said, and one would have to get nose close to the area to see it. I told him I had butterflies the size of pteradons flitting around in my belly, and he said he expected that. I have had my nighttime injection of morphine to keep pain to manageable level so I can sleep. I requested a low dosage, as I don't want to be foggy headed, but enough so I am not writhing in pain. It will make me slightly drowsy so that will also help me sleep. aikidomayland Is here with me tonight, on a cot. Since I will be getting up at OMIGOD hundred hours for surgical prep, he will be here when I go in. Also, keeps him from pacing the floors at home waiting for the sun to come up. He told me Keito, my kitty, is a bit aloof and edgy at the same time. Guess he misses me. _meegan_ Got me a plastic nose stud, because I can't wear the metal one into surgery, but it will close up in a few hours if nothing is in the piercing. Doc said it was ok. Gads, I wish those pteradons would calm down... Part of the reason I am documenting this is because a little over 2 yrs a supposed friend accused me of faking illness. She even called a true friend of mine spewing her falsehoods. My buddy lost all respect for her due to her lying, rumormongering attitudes and ways, because she was the one taking me to and from doctors appointments, and for treatments. Yes, I know it happened a while ago, but I trusted this female,and even had her as a guest in my house. I don't take kindly to betrayal and lies. Egads, I am just as garrulous in text as I am in speech when nervous.
